2014 and beyond

As 2013 draws to a close we are fast preparing for the 2014 convention season. We kick it off in fine style this January at Arisia 2014 and it?s onward and upward from there!

Arisia is New England’s largest and most diverse science fiction and fantasy convention, and is now less than a month away. We are honored to to be returning to this fantastic convention for a third year. We will be onsite throughout the entire event providing 24 hour a day social medical response to all that attend. During the past three years we have dealt with a wide array of medical emergencies both minor and major. Without our direct interventions and medical response some of the attendees would not be alive. Arisia marks another milestone for us, as it is our founding convention as an organization. Without Arisia’s support we would not be the fine social medical organization we are today.

We will be running some of our popular panels at Arisia. For specifics on which ones, as well as times and panel rooms, keep checking here and on our Facebook and Twitter. We will be updating frequently between now and Arisia, which will take place January 17-20, 2014 at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel. We will be returning to ConnectiCon July 10-13, 2014 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT. This will be our third year at ConnectiCon, and we are very?happy to be going back to this wonderful convention.

Over the course of the last two ConnectiCons, we have, in concert with the convention center nurse aided, assisted and treated well over 500 of the convention’s attendees, dealing with everything from minor cuts and scrapes to critical medical issues/situations that could have proved life-threatening had we not been present. We have also developed a very positive relationship with the convention center’s nurses and management. We look forward to working with the entire ConnectiCon staff and Connecticut Convention Center Staff.
