Waku Waku +NYC, Aug 29th-30th 2015
We will be at Waku Waku +NYC in Brooklyn New York. We will be on site doing front line first aid response and ensuring the welfare of all in attendance. We are proud to be working with Brooklyn’s newest Japanese pop culture festival. ?As our first event in New York City it?s exciting to bring the Operation Hammond mission and concept to the pop culture center of America?, said James Fedora, Chairman and Founder of Operation Hammond.
About Waku Waku +NYC: ?Waku Waku? is a new Japanese pop culture festival launching this summer in New York City. Waku Waku +NYC brings together the worlds of anime, manga, music, food, film, and fashion inside Brooklyn?s Greenpoint and Williamsburg neighborhoods. Featuring exhibits, panels, screenings, and interactive events across multiple locations, Waku Waku +NYC looks to blend Japanese pop culture with Brooklyn culture. We look to gather a group of creative artists from Japan in order to share their passions with us. It’s Cool Japan meets New York’s Coolest Borough. With a focus on access and engagement, Waku Waku +NYC is built to inspire new audiences, new ideas, and feel ?Waku Waku!? (????) = Japanese ?excitement in a dream-like state.? We want your dreams, ideas, and passions to come into fruition all in one event! Waku Waku +NYC is owned and operated by Azix, Inc. (www.azix.net)
Camp Anime, Sept 11-13th 2015
We will be returning for Connecticut’s only anime convention at a summer camp. This marks the 4th year we have provided world class first aid services at this unique and fun outdoor event. We will be located in the boat house near the waterfront for all your first aid needs. ?Out of all the events we do this is the only one that takes place at a summer camp. It is nice to see the mix of classic summer camp fun meeting Japanese culture and anime?, said Garrett D?Jong, Training Coordinator for Operation Hammond.
About Camp Anime: Camp Anime is a 3 day convention held at the YMCA Camp Woodstock Conference and Retreat center located at 42 Camp Road, Woodstock Valley, CT. It is different from a traditional convention due to the fact that there are outdoor activities as well as indoor activities and guests that you find at a typical anime convention.
Another Anime Con, Oct 16-18th 2015
Come see us at the Granite State’s largest anime convention in Manchester, NH. We will be providing front line first aid services, fun filled panels and more during the convention. Due to popular demand we will be selling Faygo soda at our table all weekend long. Faygo is a favorite drink among the convention attendees. Last year we sold out by noon on Saturday so stop by our table early.
About Another Anime Con: Another Anime Con is run by people who love Japanese culture especially Japanese animation located at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester, NH. It is a place for fans to gather in New Hampshire for a three day convention to enjoy events, special guests and other media that celebrate aspects of Japanese culture.
