We will be attending ConnectiCon and Readercon on July 13-15. We will be providing First Aid and Social Care services at both conventions. Please come by our table at both events and say hi.

We are pleased to we welcome and hail our new Lord Emperor of Operation Hammond Shamus Mahan. Without his mentoring, time and respect Operation Hammond would not exist.

Please come to our panel "How to Survive the Nerd Convention Apocalypse" Saturday 12pm in Harborside. 

Conventions can be a crazy and insane place to be and Nauticon is no exception. Learning the crucial skills how not to hurt, mame yourself or others is key ton surviving the Nerd Convention Apocalypse. Conventions after all can be crazy and zany with people of all walks of life living, eating, drinking, playing and breathing in the same place. With so many people in one place its inevitable someone will get hurt or ill. Knowing the basic sills how to help someone in a emergency saves lives. Come and learn vital life saving skills in a fun and zany environment. 
 
Sick Bay
 
We will be providing First Aid services out of our new Sickbay on the S.S. Nauticon located in the Landing Lounge across from registration. 
 
Donation Needed 
 
Help us raise 1,500 dollars so we can buy CPR training equipment to provide First Aid/CPR classes and training to people who attend and staff pop culture conventions and events. Your donations will make a difference and save a life. 
 
Please look for our blue and green donation cans at Nauticon or find a Operation Hammond member.

Nerd Caliber web magazine and Operation Hammond have teamed up to write a series of articles about convention and pop culture event safety. Nerd Caliber is the webs premier nerd lifestyle websites. Look for our articles in the coming weeks.

Operation Hammond is pleased to announce we will be attending Nauticon as their official medical aid and support organization.

Arisia Corp agrees to support and fund our organization  to help us become a premier pop culture and nerd charity.

Our new Forums and Twitter feed are now live!

We are a group of like minded individuals within the anime, scifi, fantasy and pop culture convention scene dedicated to bringing awareness of first aid, emergency preparedness and training to people who attend, help and staff anime, scifi, fantasy and pop culture conventions. The diversity and social aspects of people in this social scene are unique. We aim to bring them all together into a cohesive group that can serve the anime, scifi, fantasy and pop culture community.
